With print-on-print sentiment expected to reach its peak in Spring Summer 2014 season, the stakes were high for Just Cavalli. Known as the masters of print Roberto and Eva Cavalli with their team of designers not only answered to the challenge but also showed their dominance in the arena. The new designs are bald and contemporary, the often classic pieces get a unexpected and foremost summery twist. Well recognized animalier, tartan and flower trends are shaped with a multitude of refreshing colours.
While the sheer trend is executed with striking use of lace and cropped net like materials. The overall lines are geometric and precision cut, Just Cavalli girl is modern and confident in her own style. Even a monochrome version of the collection would certainly come as a showstopper (makes us want to see the collection in black and white as well!). With a multitude of directions presented at the Milanese show, it was certainly a note worthy occasion.
