Miuccia Prada and Miu Miu team up once again with AMO, this time working on the showstopping design of the spring summer 2014 showspace at Palais d’Iena in Paris. Created under the “Joyful Occupation” theme the space allowed the models to move through the seemingly discontinuous interior landscape in a sequence of tridimensional collages. While the audience occupied a variety of seating areas each owning a unique design identity. Catwalk design allowed a multitude of view points, providing a different experience to every guest.
"The monumental and rigorous ground floor of the Palais d’Iena is spontaneously occupied: an eclectic collection of devices and materials are freely distributed across the space, as a continuous unfolding of deconstructed domestic experiences. Materials such as vinyl, wood, plastic, carpet, foam overlap to the existing architecture in a multitude of forms and colors , cladding seats, tribunes, stairs, columns…while fantasy wallpapers border part of the perimeter of the existing spaces." – from AMO
