The brand Greta Boldini was born by the creative minds of Alexander Flagella, accessories designer, and Michela Musco a designer "obsessed with the accuracy of the details". Both graduated from Polimoda in Florence, share the same passion for beauty for the cultural tradition as well as for the typically Italian aesthetic .
For season fall/ winter 2014-2015 they have found inspiration in smooth, romantic and nostalgic images from Luchino Visconti's The Damned (discover the imagery on IMDB). This is the set within which moves the Greta Boldini woman, as she was shown during Altaroma January 2014 . A woman from idyllic stretches that identifies in Charlotte Rampling is the new muse of the brand by signing a blend of rigor, severity and purity evident in each piece of the collection. The midi length now claimed absolute by the brand, is strengthened with shorts that go well with the rhythm of heavy coats and fur – until it joins provocative body couture.
Fluid and soft lines, romantic memories of the '40s, are coupled with thoughtful materials and structures like tweed and wool, flannel and fabric. Rome rediscovers her role, generating the contemporary from the past.
