ELLERY spring summer 2015 womenswear collection by designer Kym Ellery was presented during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.
Both dramatic and nonchalant in its proportions, the silhouettes display a new restraint. Lithe and elongated with puddle hemmed trousers and elegant ankle skimming dresses, every piece intends to deliver a sophisticated optimism. Unique cloud formations and plumes of volcanic ash inform the weightless draped corsetry and sculptured abstract heels seen on the modern mule. Classic crisp shirting and silk satin sit alongside modern webbed lace, chalky suiting and pebbled leather. Illustrious tweeds frame the collection with feathery, deconstructed fringing whilst the colour palette of nude, forest green and charcoal set a sophisticated tone. The E L L E R Y spring summer 2015 collection successfully embodies the brands ethos of effortless, relaxed luxury. Overall the precise tactile and mature collection sees E L L E R Y simplify and diversify their ready to wear offering. – from ELLERY
