The Philipp Plein and his team have in a less than a couple of years made their show the hot ticket in town of the Milan Fashion Week, where the designer has taken the latest week to present his spring summer 2015 womenswear collection. The lines reminiscent of Italian glamour are mixed with the rock-edge close to the label, while the show itself is inspired by the deep see colour and fluorescent lights.
Abyss apocalypse. Literally. Philipp Plein’s new Spring/Summer 2015 women’s collection was inspired by the ocean, its coral barriers and its abysses. The audience was invited to an underwater show of enhanced reality with a 65 meter runway-stage illuminated by a system composed of 75 lights with 3D projections. A live performance by Neptune´s Orchestra created an enchanting atmosphere while an incredible cast featuring Izabel Goulart, Shanina Shayk and Devon Windsor slipped through illuminated cliffs. The finale showcased 20 stationary models in white ballerina outfits facing digital projectors that progressively cast live prints on their gowns. – from Philipp Plein
