New York based Fashion Designer Tadashi Shoji is known for his intricate gowns, for his latest collection he celebrates the same. Shoji has designed a new collection of eye-catching gowns and coveted dresses beautifully taken by the work of artist Henri Rousseau and his vision of Africa. Rousseau’s painting that inspired the designer the most was The Dream (Le Reve), created in year 1910 the painting shows the artist’s lover lounging the lush African jungle.

Shoji and his team selected breakthrough star Mijo Mihaljcic from IMG Models NYC/Fox Fashion Agency Belgrade to pose for the beautifully shot lookbook. Mijo has been the face of Tommy Hilfiger, BCBG Max Azria, ZARA, Close and Iceberg to name a few. Discover more of the collection after the jump:
