FALL WINTER 2016 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
This season showcases Ujoh’s reinterpretation of the concepts of hybrid and modern with a contemporary multimix of tailoring and sportswear which plays around an exquisite sense of volumes and pursues of a pure cutting, main signature of the brand. Reversible quilting combining a variety of fabrics such as flannel or cotton bore is used to juxtapose parts of backpacks to elegant dresses and jackets in gabardine and to donate depth to coordinates. Striped chemical lace on sporty blouson-dress with draw cords and ribbon shaggy sewn with feathers are incorporated to wide elegant coats and layered vest. These functional, but at the same time fashionable, pieces emphasize the individuality of who wears them. Even the most simple pieces are turned into minimal and sleeks styles enriched by an expressive design, such as hand-woven knitwear, lace-up shirt dresses and long rolled ribbon cuff shirts turn into minimal and sleeks styles enriched by an expressive design. Short boots and high-cut sneakers get a modern twist with belts in contrasting materials wrapping them around like sandals. The theme color palette combines colors such as green and saxe blue with inserts in navy, khaki, black, and white. – from Ujoh
