FALL WINTER 2016 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
The no-nonsense approach is fundamental in the Karen Walker world. Not to say that Karen doesn’t embrace all things wonderful and left-of-center. In this way, Karen’s a bit like her 20th century muse – hardworking photographer Berenice Abbott whose personal style was a mix of no fuss utility with a good amount of joie de vivre. Berenice gracefully borrowed from the boys and carved her own path. One of the most independent and respected photographers of the 20th century, she traveled through the decades with an aesthetic that never faltered – utilitarian with an air of androgynous chic. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is style. – Karen Walker
