“In a house where time seems to have stopped, in a timeless atmosphere, the DROMe woman walks through a classic French baroque style apartment, in total contrast with the linearity and contemporary look of the collection. Metallic textures, reinterpreted in different shapes for original plays of the light each time. New proportions for fitted and rouched tops worn with wide trousers. Blouses with asymmetrical collars alternate with mini-dresses that feature openings on the shoulders and arms enclosed in rouched-sleeves. Rouches draw the profiles of the silhouette, appear in the bustier dresses, arrive on the soft napa skirts and offer the leather pieces a gentle and graceful touch without being too sentimental. Tailored jackets with pointed shoulders, almost like an origami, like the panel skirts tied with bows. Always cinched by belts, slim obi. The theme of the bow is recurrent as a decoration on tops: it marks necklines and closes jackets like a big bow. Putting the collection into the limelight is a leather with a shiny and iridescent paper effect which is creased and transformed into maxi-trousers, shirts or light coats. T-shirts are decorated with surgical cuts which reveal a contemporary side through the rediscovery of a subtle sensuality. There is only one print for the season: small coloured and shiny gold brushstrokes are materialized on floaty dresses and tops with bare shoulders, breaking up an apparent sartorial severity.“
