Discover the second exclusive Moncler “O” Spring Summer 2017 collection, born from a collaboration between Moncler and Off-White C/O Virgil Abloh™. Inspiration by the Arctic Ocean and North Sea fishermen, the collection is a mixture of an outdoor approach, combined with streetwear attitude.
The Moncler “O” special collection is extremely varied and crammed with unusual techniques and variations. In the PVC section we have the long “Tramail” parkas with stitching reduced to a minimum. There is more PVC for the lined “Plongeur” work coat with a detachable hood and contrasting Moncler macro logo on the sleeve. The long coat, Bermuda shorts and trousers with darts are marked on the front. Opaque rubberised black rivets and more French-style pockets appear in the “MAC” section, the common denominator of which is the double waterproof cotton fabric whose roots hail back to nineteenth-century England. Twill features for the “Loch” padded fisherman’s jacket with a double collar, and for the “Treuil” anorak with triple pockets fastened by zips, a detachable hood and removable rear yoke in transparent fumé PVC revealing a glimpse of the reflective “Arrow”. This group is rounded off with the “Poulie” bomber and baseball cap with a front logo in silicone in the middle. The “Gangui” hooded jacket is made of technical compressed nylon with a silky appearance, and has an adjustable drawstring with PVC tabs and a zip down the front, a Moncler application and the designer logo along the sleeves. The technical nylon teams vocation with technicality which is heightened by the Teflon treatment, and is light enough to be exceptionally versatile. – from Moncler
