American superstar Selena Gomez takes the cover story of American Vogue‘s April 2017 edition captured by fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. In charge of styling was Camilla Nickerson who for the session selected looks from top brands such as Michael Kors Collection, Tory Burch, Coach 1941, Hilfiger Collection, Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, and Louis Vuitton. Beauty is work of hair stylist Shay Ashual and makeup artist Aaron de Mey. Set design is courtesy of Andrea Stanley for Streeters, with production by Across Media Production. This is Selena’s first Vogue US cover.
“As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out. It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about. I always end up feeling like s**t when I look at Instagram. Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit.” – Selena on social media.
