Ivan Mandzucik, who is originally from Serbia, but based for a long time in Berlin, presented his menswear collection on the 16th of January 2019. The designer founded IVANMAN in 2010 and is, since then, known for his authentic look, classic silhouettes, creative details and geometrical pattern choice. With this line, he stayed true to his significant style, that is known for a highly interesting mix of avantgardistic elements with classy ones, but added sundry new, inspiring inspirations. All creations of this charming collection stay incredibly wearable and are the perfect addition for a bunch of everyday occasions. Contrary elements are often harmoniously united in one look: for instance very sharp lines team up with bold colours or even over- sized tendencies. Sporty inspirations clearly shine through, for example some pieces we know mainly from running- and bycicle racing. These creations are paired with rather severe, serious ones: it is all about contrasts!

Colour Blocking, which has always been one of Ivan’s strengthes, is used anew and he lifts his skills to another level: Tuscany sun, violet, scarlet and turquoise meet rather restrained, timeless hues, such as pewter, night black and dove grey. What a thrilling mix! It is highly inspiring to watch this creative mix and match. This is the perfect collection for any contemporary man that prefers to dress in a classy, yet modern way. It can be worn at any age and for any occasion, from leisure time activities to a business meeting.
The detail- awareness of this collection definitely deserves devotion, for instance over- sized tendencies are used repeatedly, may it be in his jackets or coats. One coat is even provided with cut- offs at the sleeves. Completely compelling! The collars of the coats and jackets are often worn raised. Thus, the overall image of these outfits stays incredibly unique but always wearable. In cooperation with Monokel, Mavic and Falke the performance at the Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Berlin, we left the show with lots of stylish inspirations and it was a great start into the fashion year 2019.
