For their Fall Winter 2019.20 collection titled “Vicious Circle“, Talbot Runhof is depicting the secret world of the literary- vicious circle of the ’20s. The cuts and colours of these creations appear in a pompous, highly unique way. Neon colours play a central role. They are ranging from eye-popping pink, lime to vibrant yellow. These nuances are often shown tonal or, sometimes, paired with another hue. Therefore very powerful overall images are created that certainly stand out from the crowd. Over-sized bows and flounces are true eye- catchers. Capes and bustiers are made of silk and produced in Italy by the Italian manufacturer Taroni. Additionally, leopard print and velvet are repeatedly used. Timeless black velvet creations take their inspiration from Traditional Couture of the ’30s.
Worth of mentioning is also the fact contrary elements are often united in one look: for instance rough materials, such as tweed or knitting materials, are paired with sparkling fibers. It is inspiring to observe the creative play with tinsel fringes. Furthermore sporty inspirations are preferably paired with glamorous ones and as a consequence, the most unique looks are created.
“Vicious Circle” is a very sophisticated, glamorous and flamboyant collection for the cosmopolitan woman that prefers to dress in the most unique looks that stay in mind.
