The Academy Award winning actress Olivia Colman takes the cover story of American Vogue Magazine‘s October 2019 edition captured by fashion and celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. In charge of styling was fashion editor Tonne Goodman, with set design from Mary Howard Studio. Beauty is work of hair stylist Sally Hershberger, and makeup artist Francelle Daly. For the session Colman is wearing selected pieces from top brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Bvlgari, Hermès, Alexander McQueen, Dior, Zac Posen, Cartier, Ralph Lauren Collection, Tory Burch, Celine by Hedi Slimane, Erdem, and Church’s.
“I look up pictures of myself as a teenager, and I think I was gorgeous. But I didn’t feel that. All those little comments through those precious years can have long-lasting negative effects. You see images of a perfect person and say, ‘I can never be that.’ Over the years, pounds have gone on, and my body has changed; I’ve had children, if someone doesn’t like me because of the size of my bum, they can f**k off. Because I’m quite a nice person to be with, actually.” – Colman for Vogue Magazine.
