Discover Studio ALCH‘s Fall Winter 2020.21 collection, that explores brand’s roots and aims to minimize environmental impact, presented on January 6th, during the recently finished London Fashion Week Men’s.
“Following on from previous collections, AW20 presents further explorations of waste-reducing design queues, such as winterised versions of pieces with removable and packable carrier bags that can be used repeatedly to reduce plastic usage. Additionally, this season Studio ALCH presents a range of traditional denim and jersey silhouettes that have been redesigned to be pattern cut from a single length of fabric with zero material waste.
Garments presented in this collection are produced entirely from recycled, organic or excess deadstock materials. Both recycled and organic denim has been utilised and the nylon materials are made from 100% recycled filaments. Jersey styles have been produced in Tencel™ – a compostable and biodegradable fibre.
Garments are styled in traditional and military-inspired silhouettes, in keeping with the brand’s heavy sportswear influence and brand ethos. The colour palette is relatively muted to represent that return to simplicity, acting as a canvas for the design concepts presented.“
