Japanese designer Takuya Morikawa presented TAAKK‘s Fall Winter 2020.21 collection, during the recently finished Paris Fashion Week.

The present day is many things. We are self-aware, environmentally conscious, all the whilst losing touch with what’ s what. What out there is real truth? Which is a true lie? This season we travel to the underside of the world, to the innards of ourselves towards the real that lies within. – from Taakk
I take extra care in aspects that form the basis of design, such as textile development. Rather than making clothes by combining existing textiles with existing bottoms and zippers, etc., I think starting from the development of materials allows me to convey my image more directly, and I think of this as my forte. – said designer Takuya Morikawa
