Dior is collaborating with Italian scooter brand Vespa on an exclusive scooter model, as well as the matching accessories. An irresistible homage to art de vivre and sun-kissed joys, these limited-edition pieces will be available in spring 2021 in Dior boutiques worldwide, and subsequently in a selection of the Piaggio group’s Motoplex stores.
Dior Creative Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, designed the limited-edition version of the Vespa 946, a modernized version of the scooter that was originally presented by manufacturer Piaggio in 2012.
Founded the same year, in 1946, the Italian brand and the Parisian house today reinvent, more than ever, the freedom of movement and expression that both hold so dear. A reflection of their excellence in savoir-faire and a symbol of their heritage, the Vespa 946 Christian Dior revisits the iconic model in a graphically elegant version designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Its monohull architecture and emblematic curved lines are further elevated by a top case and helmet embellished with the essential Dior Oblique motif, an echo of the seat’s design. – from Dior
