Fashion brand KENZO presented the Fall Winter 2020.21 Going Places campaign featuring Lara Stone, Lil Buck, and Rose Valentine captured by fashion photographer Glen Luchford. In charge of styling was Jane How, with art direction from M/M Paris.

“Felipe Oliveira Baptista’s initial plan for his first KENZO campaign was a photographic road trip in The Azores shot by Glen Luchford and long-term partner stylist Jane How. When the pandemic arrived, like everywhere, it changed everyone’s plans. “When could we travel? Be together again?” were unanswered and predominant questions. We were to collaborate and put a campaign together, but how?

Glen Luchford came up with a whole new concept of distance photography. We selected images from his archives. Once the selection was made, the clothes were sent to New York or Los Angeles, and Glen would shoot models in the same pose and under the same light as the vintage picture, this time wearing the KENZO Fall-Winter 2020 collection: “Going Places”. The choice of pictures and styling was selected in order to express the “Going Places” spirit of the collection. A youthful nomadic spirit, freedom, movement, and a certain idea of KENZO timeless style.” – from Kenzo
