Jil Sander Fall Winter 2021 menswear collection by Creative Directors Lucie and Luke Meier took the last day of Paris Fashion Week’s digital adventure. The Milan based fashion house has prepared a 37-look collection with a nod to the brand’s dna mixed with signature sentiment formed by Lucie and Luke.
FALL WINTER 2021 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“The handmade and the technical seamlessly merge. Pristine suits in sharp dry wool, with straight elongated jackets, with zipped pockets, and cropped or narrow trousers, are worn with pullovers, instead of shirts. Knee-length boots with strong treaded soles, in black pastels or lilac, firmly anchor the silhouette, which is generally more voluminous at the top and slender at the bottom. When shirts appear, they are knitted or fluid and oversized,” shares Jil Sander team in their collection notes.

Jil Sander menswear collection captures the striking sentiment of an armour a piece of outerwear can poses, yet a word mother comes into play. In form of a necklace the team brings closer our importance of kinship, now more than ever.
Photography featured on several garments dates back to 1920s featuring women artists and designers of the Bauhaus era shot by Florence Henri. These striking images are turned into prints taking tailored jackets, knitwear and coats.
