FALL WINTER 2021 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
By rediscovering a street corner, I could remember a movie scene, and the outfits worn by its actors… Then, just a few steps away, the window of an antique shop caught my eye, and I stopped in front of it just to admire the colors and chiaroscuro of a painting, as well as the structure, and patina of a piece of wooden furniture… During this new routine of early morning strolls, I also realized that I was traveling through time with greater ease. I understood that my personal relationship with the past and the future had evolved and that it contributed to intensifying my quest for quality at all times. – Pierre Mahéo
My craving for comfort also becomes apparent in the cold mornings of Paris, as the city awakens. I wanted to add a touch of warmth by adding a hint of technical wadding to the tweeds used to design the coats of this collection, and by adjusting certain volumes to make them more supple, as well as by revising the cut of jackets in order to create hybrid coats. I also found a stunning Japanese jersey! We used it to design comfortable dresses that subtly embrace the silhouette without constraining it. We also eveloped a large triangular scarf that boasts a system of notches, which keep the scarf weatherproof, and crafted these scarfs from the fabric used for our women’s and men’s sleeved pieces. – Pierre Mahéo
