Designer NENSI DOJAKA presented her Fall Winter 2021.22 Collection, that was inspired by Swedish artist and mystic Hilma af Klint, as part of Fashion East project, at London Fashion Week. The collection fuses delicacy with strength, and it debuts a capsule of tailored pieces.
FALL WINTER 2021 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
Models Florence Hutchings, Janet Jumbo, and Jess Maybury star in the lookbook lensed by fashion photographer Angelo Pennetta. In charge of styling was Francesca Burns, with casting direction from Julia Lange, and production by Jess Briscoe-Stagg. Beauty is work of hair stylist Syd Hayes, makeup artist Niamh Quinn, and manicurist Ama Quashie.
“For AW 21, Dojaka advances her intricate visual language in which visible seams, sheer and matte effects outlined by slender linear straps make a graphic play over the body. Her repertoire of slender tulle and georgette tops and figure caressing dresses evolves in the shape of double bra effect tops with plunging deep-V keyhole necklines; beautiful tulle corsets that slip under tailored tux jackets; and layered fine jersey column dresses.
For the first time, Dojaka is embracing colour – designing a little fuchsia dress in cady fabric featuring a cut out double bra top with petal shaped cups and seamed mini skirt. ‘The dark pink is shot with blue, so it mutates according to the light,’ says Dojaka of her magical little ‘fuchsia’ dress that holds its shape with the minimal of means.” – from Nensi Dojaka
