Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote Big Little Lies, the series is created by David E. Kelley and John Henry Butterworth. Kidman stars alongside Melissa McCarthy, Luke Evans, Michael Shannon, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Tiffany Boone, Grace Van Patten, and Bobby Cannavale.
The show follows ‘nine perfect strangers’ who have come for rejuvenation in the cult-like retreat. The teaser sees Nicole Kidman as the head of a 10-day retreat at Tranquillum House. As the attendees lie in shallow graves, she appeals, “Surrender yourself to me”.
Details on an exact premiere date are not known, but the series will debut later this year. It’s also unclear whether the season’s episodes will all drop at once, or weekly.
