Ten years after its launch, the iconic Isabel Marant wedge sneakers are back. An icon of the French brand, the sneakers have been redesigned and renamed Balskee. Made famous in the early 2010s by American superstar Beyoncé in the music video for her hit single Love On Top, they had then been adopted by Rihanna, Gisele Bündchen, Marion Cotillard and Kendall Jenner, making it one of the house’s greatest best sellers within just a few seasons. Since its release, the Bekett has sold over 200 000 units worldwide.

I’ve never stopped wanting to wear them. The most comfortable things are the things you will always wear and that you are never fed up with.
– the designer says.
This new model draws inspiration from the lines of the emblematic Bekett and unveils an innovative sculptural look. The Balskee now stands on ten-centimeter heels, five of which are concealed within a chunky sole so as not to impair its comfort. Its distinctive design stands out with an interplay of colored and textured overstitched leather, an oversized tongue and its row of velcro fasteners. The sneaker comes in five signature shades, ranging from timeless black to bold yellow.
The new BALSKEE sneaker, embodied by top model Adut Akech, hits the Isabel Marant stores and isabelmarant.com in June 2021.
