Designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua presented N°21 Resort 2022 Limitless Collection, inspired by freedom and endless possibilities, that fuses differences and avoid the rules. Fashion photographer Raffaele Cerulo captured the lookbook featuring models Anna Francesca and Timo Ebbers. In charge of beauty were hair stylist Simone Prusso, and makeup artist Luciano Chiarello. Now more than ever fashion as well must participate seriously in the debate on a reassertion of the value of freedom. Energized by a sense of urgency are the same, I designed a Resort Collection that could combine the liberating feeling of diverse moods and images by seeking an interconnection through discordant elements. Reflecting on this point, I made it so that basics mingled inventively with other worlds, different of both look and meaning… such as glamour and marine sports, from surfing to scuba diving. Using the pursuit of error, I made it so every item of clothing did not serve simply to portray the world it describes, but that it belonged to the spectrum of possibilities which open up when what we’re after is authentic freedom. – Alessandro Dell’Acqua, brand’s creative director
“Highlights include sequin tank tops with tech-drawstring bottom; crepe de chine dresses with sequin appliqués on shoulder, ‘40s glam style, over neoprene diving pants; garment-dyed double breasted jackets in raw edge cotton, paired with crepe de chine cargo pants; crepe jackets over mini dresses in purl knit cotton. And then: micro skirts and bustier tops in sequin-studded neoprene, sweatshirts easily transformable in kimono or bodysuit, “nude” color latex tops in combo with garment-dyed cotton shorts, brightly colored thick-knit sweaters with feather inserts, cotton drill shirts and bomber jackets with eyelet lace front.” – N°21
