In honor to its late founder Alber Elbaz, AZ Factory will close Paris Fashion Week this October with a special homage fashion show “Love Brings Love”. A celebratory event to honor his extraordinary life and work will be held October 5th, 2021 at 8pm CET and will pay tribute to Alber’s creative vision and his love for the fashion family.
The world has lost a legend and the AZ Factory team has lost a beloved friend with the sudden passing of Alber. We are humbled and moved to launch the last two product stories he had finalized with the team. In the next months, we will come together to honor Alber with a celebration of his life and his visionary work, aiming to bring the same level of passion and love that he brought to us each day. – Laurent Malecaze, AZ Factory Chief Executive Officer
Fashion designer Alber Elbaz passed away from COVID-19 on April 24, 2021 in Paris at the age of 59. He was best known for his spectacular revival of Lanvin, and his cheerful personality. After his departure from Lanvin back in 2015, the fashion world has missed the star designer. In January 2021, at Paris Haute Couture Week, Mr. Elbaz made a comeback with the launch of his new label, AZ Factory with the Swiss luxury group Richemont. The brand is known for it’s size-inclusive approach, with the sizes spanning from XXS to XXXXL.
