The official trailer for Ridley Scott‘s House of Gucci is finally here offering two minutes packed with fashion, style, betrayal and resentment. Set to the backdrop of European glamour, followed by the soundtrack of Blondie’s Heart of Glass, the trailer sees Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jeremy Irons, Al Pacino and almost unrecognizable Jared Leto.
Set to hit the theaters November 24, House of Gucci is inspired by the shocking true story of the family empire behind the Italian fashion house of Gucci. Spanning three decades of love, betrayal, decadence, revenge, and ultimately murder, it shows what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.
The film is based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden, following Patrizia Reggiani’s arrest in 1997, for arranging the murder of her ex husband, Maurizio Gucci.

The House of Gucci, based on Reggiani’s marriage and murder of her ex-husband, with Lady Gaga portraying her, was announced in November 2019. In March 2021, Reggiani expressed annoyance that Gaga did not meet with her before accepting the role.
