Since the rerelease in 2016, the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 continues to be Ye’s most popular silhouette of all times. A part of collaboration between German sportswear company Adidas and American designer, rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West (who officially changed his name to Ye), the sneaker has become notable for its high-end limited edition colorways and general releases.

One of the most iconic Yeezy colorways ever made, The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Blue Tint”, was first released all the way back in December 2017. Now, five years later, it continues to be one of the most popular styles from Adidas Yeezy collaboration. The restock of the model was first released in Asia in December, and now, the US, and Europe are getting a chance at the highly anticipated 350 V2.
History of Yeezy Boost 350 V2
Ye originally designed a shoe for Adidas back in 2005, but it was never released. At the time, he was a relatively new name on the scene and hadn’t yet really established himself in the fashion world. His deal with adidas was inked in 2013, and a year and three months later, the collaboration officially debuted.
The first shoe model, “Boost 750”, was released in December 3, 2013 and it was limited to 9000 pairs and sold out within 10 minutes. On June 27, 2015, the second shoe from the collaboration, the Yeezy Boost 350 was released worldwide, and instantly became a huge trend. It introduced the innovative primeknit technology, that utilizes flat knitting machinery amalgamated with synthetic yarns. A preliminary version was made of a combination of petroleum-based ethylene-vinyl acetate and foam generated from algae.
It’s a serious contender in the shoe market. People compare it to Jordan and say it has that potential.
– Ye about YEEZYs
A second version of the shoe, known as Yeezy Boost 350 V2, debuted in September 2016, in a colorway called “Beluga.” It was first unveiled at the iconic Yeezy Season 3 show, held at Madison Square Garden during the New York Fashion Week. Largely based on the original 350 model, the sneaker got a few upgrades – a translucent midsole, a new primeknit upper and the addition of a SPLY-350 stripe.
A decade-defining sneaker, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is Kanye West and Adidas most successful silhouette, not only because of its impeccable design, but they’re also one of the most comfortable kicks on the market.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Blue Tint”
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Blue Tint” originally debuted in December 2017 and instantly made a huge buzz. Known for its wintery color palette (grey and turquoise with red accents), it is one of the highly coveted Yeezy colorways on the market.
The “Blue Tint” sports a full Primeknit upper in a wavy grey and blue-grey pattern, adorned with a large brush stripe in white at the lateral side, and a contrasting “SPLY-350” text in coral red, as well as the red stiches that continue on the heel tab. The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 is completed with a blue-tinted midsoles and full white BOOST outsoles, as well as the pastel blue laces.
Expect the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Blue Tint” to drop at GOAT and Flight Club.
