Released on February 17th, 2018, on Michael Jordan’s 55th birthday, the Air Jordan 3 Retro OG is the first sneaker to feature the original “Nike Air” branding on the “Black Cement” AJ 3 since it’s 2001 retro. Jordan stays true to the OG with a black-based leather upper, adorned with cement grey, fire red, and white accents, and finished off by the iconic elephant print detailing.
Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Infrared’ 2019
MJ debuted the Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared’ in 1991, during All-Star Weekend in North Carolina. Inspired by MJ’s German sports car, the silhouette is designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield. The 2019 version features the Nike Air heel logo, the Jumpman x Nike lace lock and the ‘Infrared’ accents. Inspired by the original version, the show also has a reflective heel design detailing, nubuck and a PU moulded sockliner.
Air Jordan 10 Retro ‘Wings’
Apart of the Jordan Chicago Collaborators’ Collection for NBA All-Star 2020, the Air Jordan 10 Retro Wings takes cues from an iconic Cloud Gate sculpture by Anish Kapoor, located in the Chicago city’s center. It features glimmering metallic silver mudguards, an upper of white tumbled leather, a green collar lining and multicolor piping. On the back, black stitched webbing runs down the length of the heel panel, embellished with round pops of color. The icy translucent rubber outsole is inscribed with MJ’s early career milestones.
Yeezy QNTM ‘Quantum’
The lifestyle variation of Kanye West’s signature look, the adidas Yeezy QNTM “Quantum” is inspired by performance basketball silhouettes. It is initially designed as an off-court option, and features a two-tone Primeknit pattern on the upper, very similar to the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. Its extended ankle collar provides superior protection and stability. The shoe is finished with a tan suede overlay on the toe and features adidas’s Boost cushioning embedded within the semi-translucent rubber outsole.
Nike Zoom Kobe 6 Protro ‘All Star’
Just like the most Kobe Protros, this edition revives a colourway first worn by the Black Mamba himself during the All Stars Weekend in 2011, but it is constructed differently than the original model. It looks lower, sleeker and faster, and it’s fitted with a large, flexible Air Zoom Turbo unit for elite responsiveness. The scaled-down traction keeps the silhouette close to the ground and feels better on the court. Shop Kobe shoes at GOAT and Flight Club.
Nike Zoom Kobe 1 ‘All Star’
Nike Zoom Kobe 1 ‘All Star’ is a variation of the sneaker Kobe wore in the 2006 NBA All-Star Game, which made a return to retail in 2018, following a 12-year hiatus. The shoe features a white leather base, with black working the Swoosh, carbon fiber, toe and leather panel that wraps from the medial side to the heel. Red pops up on the collar, stitching, midsole and shares the outsole with black, while the pair Bryant wore in the game featured blue in place of black throughout.
Kith x LeBron Performance 15 ‘Closing Ceremony’
The final drop of the silhouette, the Kith x LeBron Performance 15 ‘Closing Ceremony’ honors the entire LeBron 15 silhouette. The sneaker features a high-top with a black Battleknit upper, and a sock-like collar, as well as the adaptive lacing system and a zipper along the throat for extra safety. A nod to LeBron’s ‘King James’ nickname, this model is adorned with a floral embroideries all around the sidewall.
