Fashion brand HELMUT LANG enlists British photographer Jet Swan to capture self-portrait series featuring looks from their Spring Summer 2022 Collection. The project was inspired by Swan’s fresh take on exploring the female body. The images focus on formfitting looks: ribbed textures, asymmetrical pieces, vegan leather, and stretch viscose.
“Swan has created striking images of the female torso to emphasize the special features of each garment. We see beautiful dimples, folds, and contours of the body (often hidden by retouching), mimicking the lines and contours of the fabric. These images assert that the clothes we wear are an extension of our physical form, and therefore should be as unique as the bodies they contain.” – From Helmut Lang
