Discover RAVE REVIEW Fall Winter 2022.23 Collection, that was inspired by the club culture, more precisely by the 90’s Swedish scene, and its progressive, unapologetic style, presented during the recently finished Paris Fashion Week. The bold and energetic collection features rave and punk’s subculture elements. Designers Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück created perfect outfits for stylish rebels, and techno-warriors. Fashion photographer Marc Asekhame captured the lookbook featuring models Queen at Metropolitan, and Jeanne at Premium. In charge of styling was Mauricio Nardi, with set design from Christian Feltham, and casting direction by Roxane Dia. Beauty is work of hair stylist Michael Delmas, and makeup artist Aurore Gibrien.
FALL WINTER 2022.23 COLLECTIONS
“Check and tartan meet psychedelic prints from 90’s rave posters, bringing together natural fibers and performance fabrics, which, alongside with the faux fur, kilts and the blankets, are all second hand. Tight fits for tops meet exasperated oversized pants and coats, with decorative belts and belt loops, metallic eyelets and glitter transfer print. Upcycling remains the leading concept for the fabric research, integrated with mesh and fleece made out of 100% recycled polyester. The skirt-pants prepare for their great return shining as one of the protagonists of the collection, while the pantie-looks hint at an upcoming project, the Cryptopanties, with which the female creative duo prepares to enter the metaverse. This season marks the beginning of a rebranding process: fascinated by the future in terms of tech,Josephine and Livia look in the direction of a y2k aesthetics, recreated as the set for the lookbook, playing with the idea of creating a new future using pre-owned and vintage clothes: the outcome is a – purposeful – contrast between the aseptic setting and the Rare Review eclectic, multi printed and colorful collection.” – from Rave Review
