Fashion house MISSONI unveiled its Pre-Fall 2023 Collection that reimagines and updates the brand’s codes. The collection brings silhouette that is body conscious, precise, physical, and vertical, wrapped in oversized volumes. Color palette includes black, white, pastels, rusty and earthy hues, as well as bright monochrome red. For the season Missoni woman is free and eclectic, and always aware of her own physicality. Fashion photographer Bilal El Kadhi captured the lookbook featuring models Grace Valentine, Marsella Rea, and Nyanderi Deng. In charge of styling was Lorenzo Posocco. Beauty is work of hair stylist Lorenzo Barcella, and makeup artist Camilla Romagnoli.
“An alphabet of pieces, fluid and malleable as only knitwear allows. The cardigan, the progenitor item, in different lengths and volumes. The coat, with the same comfortable drape as the cardigan. The pullover, with a crew or v neck. The pencil skirt, the miniskirt, the long dress, the minidress, the trousers. The denim jacket and trousers, too, à la Missoni. Conceived around the body, fashions full of body and texture: lurex, fur stitch, textured jacquards. Fiammato, zig zig, stripes, rachel are blown up and combined in a visual language that is immediately recognizable, yet fresh in the choice of the macro size, in the editing that simplifies.” – from Missoni
