Fashion house MARC JACOBS reintroduced its Stam Bag with a campaign starring Jessica Stam, Paris Hilton, Selma Blair, Ashanti, and Ashlee Simpson captured by photographer Harley Weir. In charge of styling was Alastair McKimm, with casting direction from Bert Martirosyan. Beauty is work of hair stylist Dylan Chavles, and makeup artist Sam Visser.
The Marc Jacobs Stam bag, named after Canadian supermodel Jessica Stam, was first introduced back in 2005 and it became one of the brand’s most notable silhouettes. The handbag shaped the Y2K fashion scene with its unique structure, soft quilted leather, and bold hardware that seemingly bridged uptown simplicity with downtown edge. It was retired in 2013. The brand is reintroducing the Marc Jacobs Stam bag for the Spring Summer 2023 season, as part of its ongoing M-archives collection. The bag features all authentic details as the original, and is available in two sizes: classic ($1495) and small ($995).
