Australian brand CHRISTOPHER ESBER unveiled its Pre-Fall 2023 Collection, that explores tropical grunge, with a campaign starring supermodel Gemma Ward lensed by fashion photographer Duncan Killick. Beauty is work of hair stylist Pete Lennon, and makeup artist Filomena Natoli. The collection that was inspired by the appeal of seclusion and the romantic image of being marooned on an untouched island with magnificent beaches, blends rawness and elegance. For the season, the brand integrates hardware into its characteristic fabrications to allow the development of more sophisticated designs. The collection reimagines classic tailoring with sensual spirit. Nature’s organic forms are expertly molded in knitwear and supported by delicate metal frames, exemplifying the concept for the new collection, a harmonic blend of tropical grunge and natural beauty. The color palette was inspired by the jungle terrains, and it features nature’s rich hues.
Christopher Esber, an Australian fashion designer, launched his eponymous label in 2010. Esber, who established his label in Sydney, has gained international recognition for his refined take on modern tailoring through the fusion of classic and cutting-edge techniques. Each line exudes self-assurance and strength, showcasing a commitment to excellence in both design and execution. Christopher Esber’s collections have always focused on versatility, with the designer often employing deconstructions of basic forms that can be altered to suit the wearer. Christopher’s vision of an individualistic perspective through beautiful minimalism and laid-back sensuality frequently engages in paradox and duality, yet with each collection, he refines his desire of stripping back the idea to the purest core of an idea.
