
Victoria’s Secret announced Doja Cat as the headline act of its The Tour 2023 event. Doja Cat’s charisma, confidence, and remarkable talent as a GRAMMY award-winning global superstar make her a tremendous addition to the lineup of dynamic global creatives and supermodels featured in the upcoming feature-length film. The film will be published on Prime Video on September 26th, 2023, Doja Cat performances will feature two of her freshly released songs, adding to the iconic entertainment and glamour of The Tour. The Tour promises an unmatched viewing experience that coincides with Victoria’s Secret‘s purpose to empower and promote women on a worldwide scale, combining aspects of a magnificent fashion event with a riveting documentary.
Victoria’s Secret is reinventing their renowned fashion show as a feature-length film that will unite fashion, film, art, and culture, displaying dynamic global creatives, supermodels, musical talent, and more. The new event, dubbed “The Tour,” exemplifies the brand’s continuous commitment to empowering women and elevating their perspectives and experiences. The spotlight will be on emerging trailblazers from many artistic areas, each making their own distinct contribution.
The film will transport audiences behind the scenes, diving into the craft and personal stories of the VS20, a group of 20 inventive global creatives from Bogota, Lagos, London, and Tokyo. These forward-thinking artists from fashion, cinema, design, music, and visual arts will be given creative license to create and stage four separate fashion curations alongside legendary custom Victoria’s Secret creations.
This film is the ultimate expression of the Victoria’s Secret brand transformation. It will be driven by fashion, glamour and entertainment with a nod to beloved iconography from the past but in a bold, redefined way. The film will be creatively directed by PARTEL OLIVA, with Lola Raban-Oliva, Cristina Sanchez, Korty, Margot Bowman, and Umi Ishihara handling film direction. It will be presented by Victoria’s Secret, executive produced by Sunshine, and produced by Pulse Films. Camilla Nickerson will assist on style, while Ari Wegner will be the cinematographer, Joseph Bennett will oversee production design, and Parallax will handle post-production.
