Luxury house Louis Vuitton unveiled its Fall Winter 2023 Women’s campaign, featuring a stellar ensemble of its House Ambassadors – the illustrious Deepika Padukone, Hoyeon, and Léa Seydoux, alongside the talented actress, Elaine Zhong.
As the Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2023 campaign unfolds, it paints a picture of four empowered women, each navigating the iconic streets of Paris, channeling their unique styles and perspectives, yet all bound by a shared spirit of exploration. The scenic grandeur of Paris serves as a testament to the timeless elegance of Louis Vuitton, blending seamlessly with the contemporary sensibilities of these modern women.
Behind the camera, photographer Ethan James Green captures their essence, while director Quentin Saunier transforms their journey into cinematic artistry. Each actress, with her distinctive persona, adds layers of depth to the narrative, especially reflected in their choice of handbag.
Iconic Parisian landmarks make a stunning appearance as the campaign unfolds. Hoyeon is seen on the Pont Alexandre III, her GO-14 bag casually draped across her shoulder, symbolizing both functionality and fashion. Deepika Padukone stands tall against the Parisian skyline, atop the Palais Galliera. The contrastingly colored GO-14 bag she carries, not only complements her outfit but also resonates with the intricate design of the Eiffel Tower.
The GO-14 bag, a masterpiece designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, pays homage to Louis Vuitton’s rich legacy of trunk-making. It revives the iconic malletage design, a cross-hatched pattern reminiscent of the interior lining of Louis Vuitton trunks, celebrating the brand’s unparalleled craftsmanship.
Further adding to the narrative, Léa Seydoux is seen driving along the Rue Galliera, her trusted Capucines bag beside her, epitomizing the blend of tradition and modernity. Elaine Zhong, on the other hand, exudes grace and elegance as she strolls through the courtyard of the Palais Galliera, her pristine white Capucines bag in tow. The Capucines bag is a nod to Louis Vuitton’s illustrious history, named after the brand’s first-ever store on Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, which opened its doors in 1854. Its seemingly simple design hides a complex structure, a testimony to the unmatched craftsmanship that goes into creating each piece.
