This latest collaboration will introduce six fresh products to the autumn collection, with the spotlight on the ACS Pro trainer and the Ultra sock, set for release on October 26th.
The ACS Pro, a revered SALOMON icon, undergoes a thoughtful transformation as part of MM6 Maison Margiela’s ‘Avant-Première’ Autumn Winter 2023 collection. The design, now available in shades of tonal black, ice grey, and heather blue, balances ruggedness and elegance.
Alterations to the graphic lines on the toecap provide a more relaxed, adaptable footwear option. The blend of glossy trims, metallic eyelets, a Kurim mesh upper, and a robust rubber sole guarantees a shoe that’s both stylish and functional across varied terrains.
In tandem with the ACS Pro is the Ultra sock, a design inspired by Salomon’s classic crew sock, accentuated by two standout grey graphics. Crafted from a breathable merino blend, these socks are emblematic of the duo’s dedication to versatile and irreverent design.
From October 26th, the MM6 Maison Margiela x SALOMON ACS Pro and Ultra sock will be available for enthusiasts on MM6 Maison Margiela’s e-commerce platforms, boutiques, and a curated selection of multibrand stores.
Launched in 1997, MM6 Maison Margiela consistently challenges sartorial conventions with its innovative and irreverent designs. On the other hand, SALOMON, born in the French Alps in 1947, has been pushing the boundaries of mountain sports through its groundbreaking equipment. Together, their collaboration serves as a fusion of craftsmanship, innovation, and design, highlighting the strengths and visions of both iconic brands.
