Dior introduces its groundbreaking Dior Icons Capsule, a testament to refined yet trailblazing luxury. Conceived with the modern gentleman in mind, this assortment seamlessly transitions from daily wear to evening sophistication.
The collection’s ethos finds its ideal representation in Robert Pattinson, Dior’s ambassador. Kim Jones, the visionary behind this line, observed, “I talked about clothing and fabrication with Robert a lot because he has a huge interest in fashion. I thought it would be perfect for him to wear Dior Icons because we discussed it in the conception of the collection. He is a good friend of mine so it seemed it would be nice for him to model in it.”
Captured by celebrated photographer Alasdair McLellan, the campaign exudes serenity and grace, emphasizing the meticulous handiwork of Dior’s skilled artisans. Utilizing luxe fabrics such as cashmere, poplin, and virgin wool, it brings forth elegantly tailored coats and suave trousers that encapsulate the brand’s aesthetic.
Paying homage to Dior’s storied legacy, the collection resonates with iconic brand elements. The muted gray palette, a nod to the founder’s preference, and the emblematic Dior Oblique design subtly enhancing certain jackets are notable highlights.
The collection is complemented by the chic Dior Gallop shoulder bag, available in a more compact variant, distinguished by its aluminum buckle etched with the “Christian Dior” insignia.
The Dior Icons Capsule captures the timeless elegance and unparalleled craftsmanship that defines Dior.
The campaign was vividly captured by Alasdair McLellan, with art direction steered by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse. Alasdair McLellan also directed the film, while the styling was orchestrated by Ellie Grace Cumming. Peter Philips lent his expertise for makeup, and Anthony Turner sculpted the hair aesthetics.
