Valentino‘s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli has crafted a bespoke wardrobe for Jacob Elordi‘s portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2023 biographical drama film “Priscilla,” directed by Sofia Coppola. These custom looks feature the distinctive hand-stitched label ‘Valentino for Jacob Elordi,’ a mark of the meticulous craftsmanship and savoir-faire invested into each piece. The looks honor Elvis’ flair for perfectly coordinated ensembles, both offstage and during his electrifying performances.
Piccioli’s designs include luxurious cashmere-coated cable knit sweaters and cardigans with striking contrast bands, alongside sleek polos in fine wool. Each piece channels the King of Rock’s iconic style with a palette that ranges from ivory to camel and dark blue, capturing the essence of the era with a modern touch.
“Priscilla” is based on Priscilla Presley’s 1985 memoir, “Elvis and Me,” co-authored by Sandra Harmon. The film explores the life of Priscilla Presley, portrayed by Cailee Spaeny, and her storied relationship with the legendary musician, played by Elordi. Having premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on September 4, 2023, the film opens in theaters across the globe today.
