Rania Benchegra is a rising star in the fashion world, who’s journey to stardom began in the historic Medina of Marrakech, where she started her modeling career at the age of five. It was during a photoshoot for a French brand in Morocco that Benchegra’s potential was first recognized. Her father, thinking it would be a great experience, couldn’t have imagined how this opportunity would pave the way for his daughter’s future in fashion. Today, Benchegra stands out as a fresh and inspiring face in the industry, known for her olive complexion, delicate features, and glossy black hair, as well as for her captivating presence on the runway.
In 2023, Benchegra caught the global fashion industry’s attention during Vogue’s Open Casting, leading to her walking for fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Schiaparelli, and Versace. For Benchegra, each fashion show is a dream come true. “The big names were always a fantasy for me, and I was lucky enough to walk these this year,” she says, expressing her aspirations to walk for other iconic brands like Chanel and Bottega Veneta.
Beyond the runway, Benchegra is a multifaceted individual with a passion for surfing, philanthropy, and cinema. She holds a degree in film and is committed to using her growing platform to uplift and inspire others. Benchegra emphasizes the importance of giving back to her community and acknowledges the abundance of talent and creativity in her region. She believes in the power of collaboration and the potential to create something profound and beautiful through collective efforts.
