ZARA ATELIER has launched its captivating Collection 04_The Jacket, a limited edition line that highlights the brand’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and artistic expression. The collection is brought to life through the lens of renowned fashion photographer Tim Walker, featuring supermodel Kristen McMenamy as the star of the campaign. In charge of styling was Ludivine Poiblanc, with set design from Shona Heath, and production by Truro production. Beauty is work of hair stylist Ali Pirzadeh, makeup artist Terry Barber, and manicurist Simone Cummings.
The collection showcases a variety of innovative designs, each reimagining traditional jacket styles with a contemporary twist:
Deconstructed Blazer Limited Edition, crafted with 32% wool, features a notched lapel collar, long sleeves with buttoned slit cuffs, and front vents that create a cape-style blazer. This piece echoes the aesthetic of 20th-century menswear tailoring, displaying the fundamentals of blazer design and sewing over decades. It combines herringbone wool, flannel, and pinstripes in gray and navy, with white threading interwoven with other materials. It includes front flap pockets, a chest welt pocket, tonal matching fabric lining, and a front button closure.
Tricot Sleeve Blazer Limited Edition, made of a wool blend, merges the classic blazer design with a tricot sweater. It features notched lapel collar and textured wool sleeves, with a ribbed fabric at the waist for a snug fit. The welt pocket at the chest and an interior viscose lining, along with the front button closure, add to its refined look.
2 In 1 Embroidered Wool Jacket Limited Edition, reminiscent of 18th-century French men’s jackets, offers multiple ways to wear. It includes a bolero-style jacket with embroidered patchwork appliqués over silk and a sleeveless vest and tailcoat with high collar, both lined with polar fleece. The intricate floral embroidery and striped patterns add an aristocratic touch.
When you glance over this limited edition two-in-one embroidered wool jacket, you can’t help but be attracted by the exquisite embroidered patchwork on its surface. These are not just decorations but also highlight the wearer’s personality and elegant taste. If you are a fashionista, you can choose a series of Patches to match your outfits for various occasions and highlight your personality and taste.
New Romantic Jacket Limited Edition, made of 100% wool, combines Victorian style with modern elements. It features notched lapel collar, shoulder pads, long sleeves, and vented cuffs. The jacket is adorned with organza, lace, embroidery, and georgette, creating a romantic, feminine style. Small black cotton chiffon ribbons and removable fabric appliqués add versatility to the design.
Wool Blazer Dress Limited Edition reimagines a blazer as a dress, with inverted lapel collar and long sleeves. The garment’s structure has been reconfigured, and the exposed shoulders add a striking touch. Made of 100% wool, it showcases feminine prominence with its figure-shaping seams and tonal interior lining.
Studded Leather Jacket Limited Edition is a blend of biker and menswear styles, this 100% leather jacket is adorned with studs, chains, and pierced rings, encapsulating a punk essence. It features a lapel collar, metal zipper, and snap button cuffs, with tulle patches embroidered with glass pieces, adding to its rebellious vibe.
wow when ZARA is the only one that can pay supermodels…
wow these are great! very much surprised but would love to know where are these made and how much is Zara paying their workers? I am sure Kristen at least got a good check… about the garment makers? Not sure inditex cares
Disgusting, tone deaf advertising. Have some humanity. This was not in good taste. Mocking the death of people won’t sell your jacket
Leve Palestina
This is disgusting! Clearly modelled to look like bombed buildings and bodies in burial shrouds when our newsfeeds are full of this all the time!
There is nothing elegant about fashioning genocide. Idiots
clearly we can’t see everything through the eyes of the terrible tragedy going on right now in Palestine….. this is just very lazy art direction with a lot of budget spent on bullshit.
The casts look like fitures in pompeii if you ask me…. but nevertheless i see the connection i doubt that was any sort of glamourizing of the same by ZARA team.
Disgusting vile xenophobic propaganda clearly depicting theme of the atrocities in Gaza.
But what do you expect from a company with a history of slave labour exploitation of staff including Turks, Uyghurs along with anti Palestinian racism from designer Vanessa Perliman (who they never punished and remained in her role)
Leve Palestina, BDS Zara
This is just stupid art direction and its supposed to look like an art depository ????
Disgusting! Thanks for making boyc@tt so easy. Shame on mocking people’s death.
Absolutely vile! Shame on you. Let’s hope your stupidity and ignorance lead to the end of this genocide supporting, Zionist brand
Beautiful campaign. Anyone who comments that this photo shoot reminds them of Gaza, needs to have a chill pill. The set is clearly an artist’s studio with references to the tools of an artist. Truly a shame that Zara’s artistic expression was censored by the mob.
