PUMA, the renowned sportswear brand, has joined forces with Australian streetwear label Perks and Mini (P.A.M.) for the fourth drop of their collaborative BIO/VERSE project. Launching on January 20, 2024, this innovative collection embraces the themes of biodiversity, technology, nature, innovation, tradition, and the exploration of sport. To bring the campaign to life, Japanese rapper Tohji was chosen as the face of the collection, with the campaign shot in the bustling city of Tokyo and the serene Koke no Mori, also known as “The Moss Forest.” The campaign is a mesmerizing blend of real and digital worlds, featuring CGI environments crafted by Matea Friend and accompanied by a soundtrack from Low Jack, marking a moment of awakening and symbiosis between technology and nature.
The PUMA x P.A.M. BIO/VERSE collection showcases a range of unisex designs, distinguished by cryptic graphics and bold logos. The collection stands out for its commitment to sustainability, featuring innovative materials like mushroom leather and recycled fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and nylon. Among the standout pieces are the PUMA x P.A.M. Track Pants and Track Top, which display unique asymmetrical color blocking. The collection also includes trail-inspired garments such as a reversible Padded Vest and a Legionnaires Cap, along with Graphic T-Shirts, Hoodies, and a practical Backpack and Bottle Bag Set. Another higlight are special-edition PUMA Suede and Velophasis shoes, which have been reimagined with distinctive features and co-branding.
