On February 06 2024, a highly sought-after event took place: Well-known premium label Marc Cain invited its guests to introduce their Fall Winter 2024 line in Berlin. As always when the Bodelshausen-based brand invites, the glamorous fashion show was a true highlight. Some looks of this line sparkled and shone as bright as the mood of this glamorous evening. This season, Marc Cain transformed the Arena in Berlin into an own world in which boundaries were creatively blurred. The very special atmosphere and the interaction of fashion, music and light created a highly unforgettable, unique mix. Like in previous seasons, there were guests flying in from Hollywood to witness this show. This season, Hollywood actress Terri Hatcher (most of you will know her from various prestigious movies and her role as Susan in the television series ‘Desperate Housewives‘ for which she was awarded with the Golden Globe Award) arrived to view the show with her daughter Emerson Tenney in the front row. Both were dressed in endlessly elegant purple Marc Cain looks which did not only perfectly match together, they also perfectly matched this fashion shows’ mood. The role of powerful mother-daughter duos played anew an important role for Marc Cain. Last season Hollywood actress Andie MacDowell attended the show with her daughter Rainey Qualley. Many other prominent guests also did not want to miss this spectacular fashion show, such as Jana Ina and Giovanni Zarrella, Frauke Ludowig and her daughter Nele, Bruce Darnell, Malgorzata Foremniak, Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Monika Sozanska, Denise Schindler, Farina Opoku and many others.
This season the traditional brand lifted its elegance to a completely new level. For that purpose, Marc Cain Glam, was launched. This label will be available in stores from Fall Winter 2024 on. Being significant for its style is its elegant, beautiful approach which appears with a touch of luxury. You can wear these lavish looks all day long and that way add glitz and glamour to your everyday life. Thus, this collection gives its wearer a completely new feeling and beautifies each lifestyle. Strong colours as we know it from the labels’ previous designs, luxuriant prints plus very delicate fabrics created an incredibly sophisticated overall image. Of course animal prints must not be missing in this line again. It is one of the signature prints of Marc Cain. Additionally, flower prints are applied as well. The silhouettes always stayed feminine and therefore endulged the feminine shape, while eye-catching details for instance glittering sequins made these sophisticated styles even more special. Worth of mentioning is also the fact the looks always stayed timeless and wearable. They can be worn at any age and for many seasons. That is why you will have such timeless classics in your wardrobe for many years and can even pass them to your next generation.
According to the motto of the fashion show “Blend Boundaries“, everything was creatively united, softened and then harmoniously blended. When we entered the Arena Berlin, we stepped into a large, almost dark room. In the middle a light, round circle of metre-high, transparent gauze mysteriously shone. As the guests were placed on seats in a circle the view was a truly fantastic one for every visitor. This array was certainly a great idea, as it was a guarantee for a great view. Flower tendrils illuminated the floor and made us curious to witness what will await us inside. Like in a labyrinth, the audience was led to the center of a circular catwalk with a diameter of 31 metres.
The theme of the collection could be also noticed in the music choice. Starting with a very classy, elegant piano sound, it then later on merged into a rather dynamic, strong beat. Boundaries didn’t exist in the styles either, as the palette of looks was a highly diverse and giant one. It was ranging from elegant to sporty, from casual to glamorous, from daywear to eveningwear. In addition to that, the new label Glam was the perfect complement.
The vibrant setting certainly stayed in mind. It reminded us of a modern street scene which skillfully included the various styles. Contrary elements played a major role in this line, for instance transparent mesh materials were harmoniously united with thick wool and fake fur structures. Furthermore masculine elements sometimes teamed up with feminine ones. That way incredibly wearable, contemporary looks were created. Skirts were a big topic for next season. They were worn in all lengths: in a couple of outfits they appeared super short, in some cases maxi or figure-hugging with corsages. Some were even worn layered over tight trousers. If you have a closer look at the outfits, you will recognize barretts and loafers plus socks. These elements definitely reminded us of French elegance.
The range of colours consisted of numerous classy, timeless hues, such as night black, snow, cream, cloud, fossil, smoke, russet, cinnamon, desert sand, sage green and dark green. A bunch of delicate, graceful nuances such as lemon yellow and rose, underlined the feminine approach of this line. In addition to that, some bright, eye-popping nuances were utilized, for example orange, scarlet, bright lime and fuchsia. Modern metallics built a special highlight in this line. They could be noticed for example in metallic rose ankle boots and silver highlights. As you could see in the choice of Terri Hatcher’s and Emeron Tenney’s styles, purple played a major role in this line. It was sometimes paired with silver metallics and always appeared incredibly elegant and glamorous. Denim looks provided with rhinestones looked cool yet glamorous, with just the right amount of each. Golden details often built incredibly interesting highlights. A true highlight of the evening was when supermodel Romee Strijd entered the runway in a completely golden dress as last look.

Hollywood actress Terri Hatcher who came to view this unforgettable show with her daughter Emerson Tenney declared during the interview on the red carpet shortly before the show: “This is my first time at Fashion Week in Berlin. I love the city and its vibrant atmosphere. The event is very special for me because I can enjoy the evening together with my daughter. The perfect excursion into the world of fashion – and we both love the sophisticated styles from Marc Cain!“.
“After our brilliant anniversary year, in which we organized a fantastic Fashion Show at our company headquarters, we are now back in Berlin. The response to 50 years of Marc Cain has been incredibly positive and we are looking forward to the coming year. There couldn’t be a better start than the exciting staging here in the German capital,” explained Helmut Schlotterer, Managing Director, founder and owner of Marc Cain.
It is very hard to choose a favourite look in this stunning set, as there were so many highly desirable ones. However, what caught our attention from first sight on was a strong, cheerful look that was kept in vibrant yellow. It contained of a sophisticated sparkling yellow dress which was paired with a blazer in the same colour. Then, a highly graceful look that was kept all-over in delicate rose was one of our favourites as well. A true highlight piece of this line was, without any doubt, the golden gown supermodel Romee Strijd was wearing as last look. What a glamorous, luxurious and powerful style!
With “Blend Boundaries“, Marc Cain introduced a highly glamorous, endlessly elegant and extremely luxurious line that can be worn from day to night. Strong colours, elegance and a modern approach played a central role. This highly sophisticated collection is certainly a great choice for Fall Winter 2024!
