The Fendi Womenswear Fall Winter 2024 Collection, under the creative direction of Kim Jones, goes deep into the archives of 1984, drawing a parallel between the energy of London’s fashion scene and the Roman style. This collection tributes the era of the Blitz Kids and the New Romantics, a time when British subcultures were at the forefront of fashion, intertwining workwear, aristocratic flair, and Japanese influences into a global phenomenon. Yet, in the midst of this cultural mix, the collection maintains a British grace that is effortless and unaffected by what other people think, something that fits with Roman style.

Jones brings the essence of Rome into the collection through a partnership with Italian institutions. Transparent tulle and organza pieces are decorated with prints of notable artworks such as the Cloaked Female Statue and the Colossal Head of a Goddess, sourced from the esteemed Galleria Borghese, alongside the Immaculate Conception from Chiesa di San Luigi dei Francesi.
