In an exciting collaboration, adidas Originals and the Montreal-based design studio JJJJound have come together to make a new edition of the iconic Samba sneaker, set to release in March. The collaboration brings us two exclusive versions of the Samba, crafted in the Adidas Scheinfeld factory in Germany.

Founded in 2006 by Justin R. Saunders, JJJJound began as a digital mood board and has since evolved from a digital platform to a collaborative design studio that inspires creativity and innovation. With this collaboration, JJJJound applies its design methods to the Samba, creating the sneaker from premium leather in two colorways – a sophisticated play of black with white stripes and white with black stripes, both featuring co-branded details and vintage touches.

The launch of these exclusive Sambas is accompanied by a curated campaign about the artisans behind the scenes. Through a series of intimate behind-the-scenes images and films, the campaign focuses on the skilled craftsmanship of the Scheinfeld factory workers, who bring this collaboration to life. The sneakers make their debut on March 27th, with distinct availability channels for each colorway.
