In their second collaboration, Napapijri and OBEY have fused outdoor aesthetics, utility details, and contemporary streetwear style to create a capsule collection designed for both outdoor adventures and urban life. The centerpiece of this collection is an exclusive version of Napapijri’s Epoch jacket, featuring recycled ripstop fabric and a unique graphic patch combining the logos of both brands. The collection also includes a range of streetwear pieces such as bucket hats, waist bags, and cargo shorts.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
The garments are crafted using sustainable fabrics and techniques, incorporating partially recycled materials like organic cotton and polyester, as well as durable and high-performance textiles such as ripstop nylon and Cordura®. These materials are treated with new, more environmentally friendly dyeing methods, in line with the ethical commitments of both brands.
The campaign highlights the central graphic of the capsule collection, “Earth Crisis,” by OBEY’s founder and artist Shepard Fairey. This artwork reflects a bittersweet contemplation on the concept of crisis and the positive impact that collaborative action can achieve.
The Beeman symbol, featured in the collection, represents the real-world issue of endangered species. It plays with surreal imagery and notions of wonder and hypnosis, also evoking the hive mentality—a collective consciousness that arises when individuals come together to share thoughts, ideas, and information. This symbol underscores the importance of collective effort and environmental awareness, echoing the core values of Napapijri and OBEY.
