For Spring 24 Men’s Capsule Collection, Louis Vuitton collaborates with the rapper Tyler, The Creator. Under the creative guidance of Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton extended an invitation to Tyler to incorporate his creative vision with the brand’s designs. This collection is described as a celebration of the LVERS community, a global network of artists united by their appreciation for craftsmanship and design of Louis Vuitton. This partnership is a continuation of Tyler’s previous contribution to the Fall Winter 2022 Men’s Show soundtrack.
The capsule collection combines Tyler, The Creator’s signature preppy aesthetic with Louis Vuitton’s dandy style, as established by Pharrell. It introduces a palette of chocolate, vanilla, and pastels across a variety of trans-seasonal pieces that are reminiscent of spring through their colors and functionalities. Central to the collection is the Craggy Monogram, a unique hand-drawn emblem by Tyler, which injects a playful yet sophisticated twist into the range. This pattern is integrated into a variety of garments and accessories, including down jackets, windbreakers, denim ensembles, and an array of knitwear, all with motifs such as daisies and Airedale Terriers.

Beyond clothing, the collaboration extends to an impressive lineup of accessories and shoes. The Craggy Monogram is on everything from leather goods like the Sac Chien dog carrier and Courrier Lozine 110 trunk to new pieces such as a travel chessboard resembling melted chocolate. The footwear range, including reimagined LV Dandy loafers and LV Waves derby boots, captures the collection’s designs through embossed Monogram leather and craggy details. Additionally, the collection features unique accessories like éclair-shaped pouches and golf-inspired items.
“My main focus was making things I would wear all the time. I dress the same in a meeting as I do a performance or grocery store trip, so hand drawing the monogram felt like the perfect balance to me. The chessboard is one of the greatest things I’ve made and is definitely my favorite thing from the collection. The team was great to work with, it kinda felt like ‘Big’ with Tom Hanks. P has always left a door open for me, but I still can’t believe this one” says Tyler, The Creator about the collection.

why are men’s always so much more creative than the women’s blood I really have no idea but I think it should be the opposite for Louis Vuitton 💖
