Gucci and MUBI are excited to announce the global premiere of “Who is Sabato de Sarno? – A Gucci Story,” a documentary that provides an intimate look into the world of Gucci under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno. Narrated by acclaimed actor and ambassador Paul Mescal and directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, this 20-minute short film is now available for streaming on MUBI. It offers viewers a unique journey into De Sarno’s debut Gucci Ancora fashion show, exploring the creativity and teamwork behind the scenes. This documentary marks De Sarno’s first collection with Gucci, revealing his personal insights, passions, and vision for the iconic fashion house.

In addition to its premiere on MUBI, Gucci plans to host screenings of the documentary in major cities worldwide, coinciding with the collection’s arrival in stores. An innovative Apple Vision Pro enriched version will also be available, providing an immersive viewing experience of the Gucci Ancora collection. Furthermore, through a partnership with Air France, the documentary will be accessible on all flights during April.
