The CPLUS SERIES Fall Winter 2024 collection, titled ‘The Appearance of Time,’ is an imaginative exploration of time through fashion. Conceptualized by the designer CT Liu, this collection draws inspiration from St. Augustine of Canterbury’s reflections on its unpredictable transformations and subtle yet profound impact on our existence.
Central to the collection is the portrayal of today’s woman as a ‘multi-faceted beauty,’ whose dynamic lifestyle is mirrored in her versatile and defiant fashion choices. CT Liu’s designs encapsulate this modern woman, who transitions from the corporate world to the vibrancy of the nightlife, challenging conventional judgments with her style. Through the use of washed twill jeans, asymmetrically stitched garments, and textured knits, the collection introduces elements of subculture into mainstream fashion. This is taken further with a nod to the ’90s, drawing connections to the punk and grunge movements.
