The statement from Celine highlighted their enthusiasm, “Celine is pleased to announce that Danielle from NewJeans will represent the house as global ambassador.“
Danielle’s agency, ADOR, echoed this excitement, hinting at the varied and vibrant activities planned for Danielle in her new role. They expressed anticipation for the unique synergy that the partnership between Danielle and Celine is poised to bring to the global fashion scene.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of NewJeans’ recent win as Group of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music event. With IFPI naming NewJeans as the eighth best-selling artist in 2023, the group’s meteoric rise and global influence are undeniable.
NewJeans is also preparing to dazzle fans at their upcoming Tokyo Dome fan meeting with an ambitious 24-song setlist, including four eagerly awaited new tracks. The fan meeting, dubbed ‘Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,’ is scheduled for June 26-27.
