Seoul’s dynamic landscapes – from busy streets to serene rooftops – serve as the vibrant backdrop for the Gucci latest Horsebit 1955 campaign featuring Global Brand Ambassador Hanni from NewJeans. The campaign, captured under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, showcases Hanni’s youthful and playful spirit as she introduces iconic Horsebit styles to a new generation.
The campaign prominently features the Horsebit 1955 bag, a piece steeped in equestrian tradition and now reimagined in the exclusive Gucci Rosso Ancora editions, tailored specifically for the South Korean market. The rich, red hues of the Rosso Ancora bring a fresh and lively aura to the classic design, making it a standout accessory for the season.
Adding to the campaign’s historical significance, Hanni becomes one of the first females to feature the Horsebit 1953 loafers in a Gucci campaign. This inclusion highlights Hanni’s role in bringing contemporary relevance to time-honored styles. Her effortless charm and the natural fit of the loafers and bag within the urban chic settings of Seoul underline the timeless appeal of these Gucci icons.
Photographed across various iconic locations in Seoul, from quaint record shops to panoramic rooftops, the campaign tells a story of tradition and modernity. Hanni, as a global ambassador, navigates these contrasting spaces with ease, embodying the essence of a modern fashion muse who respects tradition yet is not afraid to redefine it. In charge of photography was Tyrell Hampton, with video direction from Rina Yang. Styling is work of Francesca Burns, with art direction from Riccardo Zanola. Music NewJeans – ETA.
